but no, really. that crossed my mind lately too. aside from that, i find it weird that the augur allows us to request for items that don't always benefit the island in a way that it would flourish. i mean, some of us requested for plumbing and electricity and new buildings, sure, [ and fucking aphro bees and monsters wtf ] but if you think about it, that's not enough to realise the augur's goal of "bringing life back to this world".
i wonder if it's a way to pacify us and make us settle for what we have right now, instead of wanting to go back home.
maybe the motivation to finally find some other way out? i've honestly been trying, hoping i could get home without needing to comply to whatever the augur is asking us to do, but i haven't found one yet.
I know. I think a lot of people are trying, or at least waiting for an opportunity to present itself. I don't blame them. It's not exactly an ideal situation to be in.

i think we need to learn more about the augur and how exactly they're pulling us from our worlds. i can't tell if it's all just high tech machinery or some sort of magic i've never encountered before or it's a combination of both.
you're from the future, right? with robots and all? do you have any technological breakthroughs that could pull people from different places?
Will you be able to tell if you were brought close to it? Like, if it uses any kind of magic at all?
And no. I'm from a .... plausible future, I guess? There is no magical shortcut for distances other than more expensive travel. It still takes time to go from point A to point B even with a mobile suit.
